Edwina Shrimpton da Luz holds qualifications and experience in both British and Portuguese law.

Born in the Algarve, Edwina moved to the UK to study law at the University of Wolverhampton. After completing the Bar Professional Training Course in the UK, at the University of the West of England, she worked at the highly respected English Family Law firm, Benussi & Co. In 2013 she returned home to the Algarve and qualified as a Portuguese Lawyer. 

Edwina’s status as a dual national citizen of Portugal and England, and her understanding of both UK and Portuguese law enable her to work with foreign and local clients and to provide the expected level of service to British clients. Edwina is fully fluent in English and Portuguese and has a clear focus on communication, trust and results, ensuring that her clients understand the whole process. 

Working as an independent lawyer, Edwina shares offices with her mother, Danielle Shrimpton Solicitor, in Lagos. The family connection works to the advantage of clients, who can benefit from a wide range of services and the combination of knowledge and experience in a variety of legal areas.
